Candy Memories

Bella Mia Chocolate Shop first opened in 2003 at 1096 Hertel Avenue in Buffalo, NY.  Bella Mia Chocolates & Candy is family owned and has been doing business in the North Buffalo neighborhood of Hertel – this business district is also known locally as ”Little Italy”.  Our store name Bella Mia Chocolate Shop ( My Beautiful Chocolate Shop ) was chosen to express what our business means to my family.  I have always been interested in making, selling and enjoying chocolates and retro candy products while bringing old style friendly service back to the customers that visit my store or just stop by to say “Hello”.

I really enjoy working in my store and meeting new customers and seeing old friends and neighbors in North Buffalo.  So, if you are in the Western New York area, please stop in.  We carry a large number of ice cream flavors and on a really hot summer day – there is nothing like sitting down with an ice cream sundae, smell the fresh chocolate and watch the world go by. Our website was started in 2007 and I try hard to offer a unique Product Catalog based on customer requests plus many of my personal favorites. Each week I try to add more old time favorites and new treasures to keep you smiling and remembering the “old days”.
